Home made Roll bar

=devilSo I have looked at 25 or so different roll bars online and LHS but I hate the fact that the mount at the bumper. Is anyone heard or seen a way to mount right in front of the shock towers? I know I would have to modify body but that would be soo much better, especially if you have aluminum bulkheads and a way to disconect fast just about where the body would sit on the body posts.

Any Ideas would greatly help this fabrication I will get done somehow.=devil

Yep. For a maxx, that's the one I'd recommend. It mounts to the two upper screws of your bulkhead that holds the shock tower on. Very solid and light.

yea I really like that one. Never saw than particular one but gave me a great idea. I will be running the hump 5 cell battery in front of the shock tower so, I will have to make a mount on the back side of tower. Custom made bracket to fit all four screws. Then run either small box tubing or round all the way back to back side of rear shock tower with same kind of mounting. Finally it is the weekend so let the design/prefab party commence. haha

sounds like a good idea, but its a lot of work and a lot of weight.
Why not just do something like this then
