Its funny how much bad vibe this place gets. Its not my favorite store or anything but it was local and I got a few good deals at my local store.

This is my number 1 go-to hobby shop. They help me with things. My buddy and I went to buy him an Arrma Typhon grom brushed, (He bought me my mojave), and they warned us not to break the shock tower as it was part of the chassis! And, they have clearance bins! I've found some long discontinued parts in there from Losi (XXX-t SC or whatever it is called @WickedFog) and ecx stuff that I have been searching for on eBay for a long time.

I'm same as you @Lukedavis. If I need to grab something quick and it's in stock, they're my shop of choice, well and only shop for RC near me. Staff there has always been nice and helpful to me. I was surprised at all the Arrma rigs in their yesterday, they must have gotten a big shipment in because there were loads of RTRs.
Plus the kiddo loves looking at all the planes and very loudly will call them out whenever we're in the shop, it's quite entertaining

My HT only carries Horizon Hobby and Traxxas and "some" of the more typical upgrade/replacement parts. Anything outside of that for RC I have to get online

I think thats what I was buying at the time. Revo parts and I bought a Spektrum radio... a few bodies too.
I don't think they even had Tamiya.

Nice score on the other rare stuff!!! That stuff is ALWAYS my favorite!
