There some pretty good prices in this weeks sale over at HobbyPeople. I'm thinking of getting a Micro RS4 RTR, Thats the best price I've seen.

There are some Nitro Items for Sale Too!

Hobby People kicks ass! (In my limited experience anyways). Way back when, I started a thread looking for a good hobby store in the Anaheim area, since my wife was taking a trip down there, and my lhs sucks. I tried Ultimate hobbies, but the jackass on the phone wouldn't even check stock for me, let alone prices. Anyways, I sent my wife to Hobby People in Lakewood CA (at X's suggestion) and the dudes there were great! Answered all of her questions, had almost everything I wanted in stock, and at decent prices too. Anyways, just my 2 cents.

Yeah I would recommend Hobby people to anyone. And they will price match tower or Stormer ...x

All these great remarks about Hobby People. Yet, whenever I go to the Pasadena branch the salesman just stand around sipping their soda and are talking to their friends. I have the stuff I need, and I'm ready to buy. But they're just standing around. Sometimes it feels like I'm bothering them. There's a couple of cool guys. But whenever I have to go to Hobby People, I hate going there. I like the sales with 25% off on bodies. But if I could stand the traffic I would head out to Elite Hobby shop in Covina, Ian (the owner) is the man.

As for Ultimate Hobbies, I have to admit there are a couple of jackasses there. We wanted to ask more about RB engines and was ready to buy one. But the tall older looking jackass was not giving us the time of day. He just kept his arms folded. And Mr. Doorman aka jackass was asking everybody, "did you pay for that yet!"

They do have almost everything I'm looking for. I make the pilgrimage out there with a long list. And I just put up with the attitude.

Well counting i order on the net mostly hobby people and tower and stormer are all good

The only thing Hobby People didn't have for me was the Lunsford titanium hinge-pin kit I wanted. He said it was too 'high end' for them. They did have the TRX one though, so that was cool.

I guess what it all depends on, is who has their panties in a bunch that day, and who actually cares about customer service.
