hobby king

has anyone had any luck with any of the hobby king electric rc cars? what does everyone think of them? i was thinking of geting one just to beat around.

I've read almost nothing but neg feedback and mostof them BUT the hk (acme) troopers, 1/10 sc truck, are great for the price. I have one and i got my dad one also. Weve beat the crap out of them and had few broken parts. Spares are cheap too so i stocked up.the stock servo sucks tho.

The 1/5 scale baja I read was pretty good and it was something like 96% compatible with the HPI baja parts. Just what I read...I dont have first hand experience with it.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I had the Baja from them too. Its actually a Rovan even though its called a HK baja.
