Hello,
I have a Hobao Hyper VSE I just bought off of Ebay..
Could someone please help me out with this..
If I turn off the controller the car will start to drive off
I have a HB-2.4G 3 channel controller.
I am new to this controller and I cannot work out how to get it to stop once the controller is turned off.

Turn off the car first.
Always turn on transmitter first then receiver and to turn off always turn off receiver first then transmitter.
If you turn of the transmitter off first then there is nothing going to tell the receiver what to do.
ALWAYS TURN OFF THE CAR FIRST.

👆 This man knows what hes talkin' bout! :)

The feature you want to set is called "Fail Safe", and it appears you have a rebranded radio from BER, though not sure which specific version you have, I found a manual here which discuses how to set the fail safe, I would give this a try:
https://www.himodel.com/manual/Manual BER-TRC1 (ENGLISH VERSION).pdf

While I agree with others that it's best practice not to rely on the fail safe, you still want to enable the feature to prevent a runaway in the event you drive out of range which can be a safety concern :(

ok.. I thought it was a setting issue
Any one have a manual or know where I can find a manual for this particular controller?

See Bill's link above.

WOW Thanks for all your responses.. I appreciate the help..

If I make any sense of that you just have to rebind the transmitter in the neutral position?
not exactly, I think it says if you rebind the Rx then you need to reset the F/S

I believe there is a button on Rx that you press while leaving the Tx in neutral and you wait to release the F/S button after it stops flashing and remains solid.
