You probably noticed the much better layout, notably the lack of the front “kick-up” that the Arrmas have. That flat center and front chassis orientation removes the high-misalignment front center shaft to differential angle and also allows for actual caster adjustment. The Hobaos are also credited with having more robust differential gears (a lot of hardcore Arrma speed-run guys move to those, and Scorched RC now offers an Arrma diff bulkhead that utilizes the preferred Hobao gears

The VTE2 and subsequent V2 release are both pretty much considered to be a better mousetrap all the way around as compared to the Arrma Limitless platform, and offer a much greater range of chassis adjustment, especially in regard to the caster settings. The “built in” caster specifications of the Arrma platforms are very extreme due to the front differential kick-up angle and can not be overcome.
