check this site out and put your info in the boxes, it will give you a theroetical top speed. and you might wanna rethink some things you have already done... lol. according to what you have shown on the truck so far, it has a possible top speed of 175 mph already. but the bad part is, The motor kv (2200) and voltage (22.2) you selected exceeds the general recommended maximum brushless motor speed of 40,000 rpm. Motor overheating may result. and Above approximately 45mph, wind resistance and drivetrain drag plays a large role in the reduction of the theoretical top speed.

check this out - http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/top_speed.html

i used that site to see what it would do. the only thing i guessed on was the tire diameter, i used proline road hawgs as an example with everything else pulled from your post. it showed a possible top speed of 176.11 mph (282.89 km/h)
i hope this site helps you, i know it did me when i built a rocket rustler. mine was clocked by kentucky state policeman doing a little over 85 mph in a parking lot. good luck!!

These tires are almost 4 inches in diameter.....way more rollout than speed hawgs. Motor getting hot is to be expected which is why I not only have a fan on it but willlet it cool every few runs or as needed. got my trusty temp gun.

theoretical max is 219.9 mph

In reality I'm hoping to break 100+

We had a guy that built a car off of a .61 airplane engine and it went "Like 250 mph" Oh wait no he didn't....maybe it was from the solar panels....no wait he didn't do that either... hmmm. Oh well I will just have to wait and see what you come up with. Looks pretty nice so far though. Wind drag and friction will be the biggest factor I think.

Yeah, I'm hoping to do it in the next couple of days...I definatly plan on getting some video.....If I dont wreck and total it the first run out lol.

We want to see the video even if it does bite the big one :D. Goodluck and don't forget to do a serious final check before you go, any crash or failure would suck but to have one happen due to something small and stupid is always worse.

my prediction.... something is gonna burn... or fly apart. but either way, get it on video. I'm excited for you. and cool lookin rig so far.

Wont be any vids soon...when I was trying to tune it in one of my GRPs blew out.....wasn't even got but about 50....Waiting on my Ipanemas to come in. theyre supposed to be able to handle it.
