Anybody have any connections or can beat 212 shipped? I've looked all over the internet and that's the best I can find. Its for 1998 Camry le. I'm looking for at least 180 amps but 200 would be better.

150A for $240 at mr alternator is the best I found. They make great stuff. Or they did 7 years ago.

I looked for a high out put alternator at a local napa and the old man behind the count didn't know what I was talking about he said he'd never heard of one before I asked

Should be 200a for a camry all over ebay for under $200. I ran a 200 off ebay on my corolla, lasted the entire time I had the car. Was like $150 back then, 5 or so years ago.

All I see on eBay for 200 are 180 amp. I'll probably end up going that route. The stock alternator on the car won't get that hcca amp out of protection. It plays a little when you get the car moving but its still in protection.
the stock wires may not take extra amps. keep a fire extinguisher close by.
