I got a new body for my stampede and I don't want the antenna to stick out of the rc car because it looks better. I am using the 2.4Ghz receiver so it has a shorter antenna. Would it be a bad idea if I cut down the blue plastic piece and just had it velcroed onto the inside of the chassis?

If your talking about a standard 2.4GHz tube then just put the lid on it and make the tube bend back a little so its still touching the top of the inside of the lid when the lid is on....if that makes any sense. Otherwise yeah cut down your big tube to where its just long enough for the antenna and then do what I was just talking about. Thats what I do with mine anyway.

Grey is right, but at all costs dont EVER cut your actual antenna to shorten it, insta-ruin.
