Well here it is, our first storm of the 2005 hurricane season. Tropical storm Arlene, it is projected to become a hurrican before making landfall somewhere near the panhandle.

Be safe Joe. I hope everything turns out for you well. I will pray for you and your family's safety. If there is anything I can do to help you out please just ask and I will try my best to help out!

I heard it on the radio on the way to work.
What is it going to take before you relize that you need to get the fiddlesticks out of FL.
I can't believe you PAY to live there. Its your choice, deal with it or STFU! :p:

This one is nothing compared to three that handed our asses to us in a two month time frame last season. We should just get a lot of rain, and some light winds, nothing dangerous. But Charlie, the first one last year, started off the exact same way and decided to go from a 1 to a 4 within 8 hours, then hung a right turn coming right over central Florida, kicking the crap out of us.

Thanks for the kind words Edd........................................................jackass! :D

Hey this meen's Nc Get's His once a Year Bath now,Congrats Man,Anyways Be safe, take pic's of anything if it get's exciting.

Wow.. I can't even imagine what Hurricane insurance would cost in Fl. Just be safe bro, and good luck with it. Hopefully it will be a little one or you wont get the brunt of it.

Well, either way you and your family stay safe. Maybe the hurricane will kill all them damn spiders you got down there.

My family is in Tampa. Last year they were lucky. I hope u make it out ok Joe. I'll keep ya in my prayers.

Yeah, NC... man be safe....As you know those things are killers and nothing to mess around with. Keep us udated. If you need anything I will also do anything I can to help. I am just a few states up the coast from you.

Tom

It's just about to make landfall on the Florida panhandle, Alabama border now. It just caused some winds and a lot of rain here, it's beginning to clear up here now, nothing at all to really worry about this time, but the potential was there. And after last season I aint taking any chances.

Glad to hear it missed you. We were very lucky here last year but I don't think we will be that lucky two years in a row.

And so the long season of big rain, high winds, and other storm related natural disasters visits Florida. Good luck, NC. Stay safe and duck...those flying trees are murder.
