Help me! I had to replace slipper clutch off 1/8th scale hsp tornado truck due to a stone jamming the back diff replaced that too, however i'm having difficultty adjusting the spring setting on it, as i tighten it on to the main shaft the spring just presses tighter and tighter resulting in no slippage at all. It shoul go on 3 .5 turns and still be loose enought to turn by hand!!! Obviously doing something wrong and am stipping metal trying in vane Thanks to anyone who can help cheers:(
 
I would run it down all the way then back it off 1/4 turn. You should not be able to turn it by hand very easy. I like mine a little on the tighter side than too loose....If it's loose you will end up burning up the pad or glazing it over causing it to slip like crazy.
