hey there!!
I'm new to all this.....can anyone help!! when starting my nitro hotbodies lightning 2 buggy it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere, I accelerate and it moves at a snails pace, but rev's it arse off!. I've replace the clutch shoes with no avail!!! any help would be grateful
many thanks!!!

strange, but IMO this sounds like a clutch problem. The reason i say that is because if something was hindering the car from moving the mil would stall, So it sounds like your clutch shoes are not engaging. Also check your spacing between your clutch bell and your spur.

You might also wanna check to make sure that all your drive shafts and rods are all connected. Sounds like, since you replaced the clutch, that maybe a set pin or something on the CVD's fell out and whats going on is that your engine is moving, clutch is engaging but that the center diff is letting all, or most or the power go to the spot of least resistance, making it move slow like a slug..

So just check all your diffs, drive cups and axials. Make sure your hex's are good on your tires and so forth. Best of luch and hope this helps.

cheers!!

cheers guys!!
I will give all that a go,and post how i get on!!
once again many thanx!!
