alright guys look...... i'm new to this and i need some advice!i have a 2006 t-maxx 3.3. When i bought it the store threw in a supercharger, and dual exaust. this thing is wicked fast but i donot know where to enter it into a race and i donot know any clubs to join so i can get some pointers on how to race? if you guys know anywhere i can go that would be great...oh.. i live in north florida...near jacksonville...so please help ... my truck is dying to get in on some action. the box says it will run 50........mine will run close to seventy...........l8er.............jh

Sounds like you have invested in a lot of cash towards your Maxx. I would suggest not putting down numbers of speed you have attained unless you have proof. I fell into that when I first started. Get a vid of it in action doing 70MPh. Sure its not like 70Kmh? Or use the math equation. I would suggest the Venom Speed monitor but that is one more thing to invest in. My first suggestion is better.

Why not ask the shop you purchased it from, I'm sure they know of some local tracks and/or clubs you could get involved with.

Superchargers do NOT work. There just a gimmick for noobs to think there r/c's go 70mph. These are 2 stroke motors. None of that crap works for these mills. best thing this guy could do is take off the supercharger and his dual exhaust and throw them in the garbage.. Then his rc would be able to do 80! :LoL: (Honestly itd go faster, hold a tune better, and wouldnt cut the life of the mill in half)

At 70 that thing would lift off the ground or at the least the tires would balloon so much that controlling it would be impossible. Also superchargers do not work on 2 stroke motors. You need to get a refund from the hobby store that sold it to you if they said it would boost performance. The only thing it does is add extra weight to your vehicle which would slow it down.

Why would it not work due to it being a 2 cycle engine? I ask not to bash you but truly for curiosity. Can you explain why?

At a certain point in a 2-Stroke's cycle, the exhaust port and the intake port is open at the same time. The supercharger will just blow the air right through the ports. Superchargers/Forced induction works on 4-Strokes because there are valves that can hold pressure.

Do you think it would actually be so strong that it would throw off the Fuel/air ratio that much? I don't care for them at all. One tumble and your day would be done.

I know superchargers dont work. I was just asking him if he thought it did, because they dont. He should learn that. I think they are a total waste of money. He should have just upgradered/bought a new mill.

I have a supercharger on my daily driver truck, and I dont think that these little mills would turn over enough Solid rpms anyway. I know on my truck as soon as I get to 4k is when I can really start to hear it spooling up.

On my truck? Its like a night and day difference. I just have the 4.3L V6 in it, so the supercharger really brought it to life and now puts down decent numbers and ponies without effecting the milage to much.
