is the cen racing CT4S as good as they say it is on the web site...and also has anyone drivin it? hows the handling? or is it better to go with the serpent 710...i know that the 710 is a good car but I'm not sre if I'm at that level yet...so CT4S or 710????:lick:

Personally, I wouldn't buy CEN...only because it's kinda an off-brand and not really proven.

like they had a video clip if it being timed and it said 73.5 but it was going straight..i was wondering hows the handleing.

I myself have seen the new Cen truck in person. Cen is pumping a lot of time and money into there Race program and won at the NORRCA Nats this year. Their stuff looks top notch to me as far as construction and machining. I for one haven't seen one run but I would bet on this company to do good things. They are trying to ditch their old image and have done a great job imo with making all their vehicles up to date technology wise with all the RC industry leaders. I would for one would buy that on-road.

i partially disagree with blazer's statement. While CEN is on the road to building a competitive product - they arnt quite there yet. I would put the Ct4R and Ct4S up on par with maybe the RS4 SS. Kind of like a Hyundai. Back in 86 the were junk. then in the mid 90's they began building decent cars, and now they are on their way to becoming the next toyota. Not yet, but one day. Plus, if you can afford a Porsche, why buy a hyundai? If you are on a budget, look at the CEN more closely, but if you can afford the tab, go with the serpent, as it is the best.

I do think it is a tad better than a SS though as it has the new stype PBS it has an actually aluminum tuned pipe and not plastic. It has more handling adjustments, it has a lot lower of a CG. It also comes with sway bars. I am not contesting your opinion NA just a few things to consider when comparing a RS4 SS and the Cen car.

Look at them side by side and I am sure you can see the Cen looks a little better, well at least to me it does. I would say the R40 is better though. In no way is it close to the level of Serpents though.
