I'm pretty sure it's a navarossi engine it came with a mugen mbx4. My bro took out the piston and sleeve and sent it to osrocket. Now we got it back and he dosent remember which way it goes back. On the sleeve it has a little notch cut out on one side on the top and it also has a big u shaped cut out on the bottom. Anyone know what i'm talking about?

The top of the sleeve should have a little groove cut in it to fit where the little pin resides at the top of the engine block.

by bad its the piston he's unsure about yeah he said that about the sleeve but the piston is the one that has a side that has a cut out roughly like this /-\ at the bottom which could face either way

The cut out on the bottom of the piston should be facing the front of the engine, the non cut out side will be on the exhaust port side of the engine.

Don't forget to break it in like it was new. If you don't do that, you're pretty much wasting the pinching.

also a new connecting rod, and wristpin clips, should be installed after you break the engine back in. if you dont, your seriously risking throwing a rod within a gallon.

Are you sure that its' after, and not before (due to the stresses put on it by the pinching)?

I've got an OS CV.12 with three pinches (including one WAY too tight) on the internal parts, and it still runs.

Yes after, the stress comes while breaking in the engine, once you ahve it broken in you will be getting some serious rpm which is when the rods tend to snap causing hell on an engine.
