Hey all,
I have recently been given a Nitro buggy.
I have never had this problem before

It's a brand new engine but hasnt ran for about 4 years.
My problem is:

The flywheel which connects with my starter box doesn't turn.

Is there any way I can't fix this or is the engine completely screwed?

Cheers,
Nox

The fly wheel nut may not be completely tightened down, which would allow the flywheel to slip on the Collete, therefore not engaging on the motor . Try removing the clutch bell and shoes and make sure that nut is tight.

Are you saying that the engine wont turn over? as in the flywheel wont move at all?

Correct. I tryied what the other guys said but still nothing. Any ideas?

Remove your glow plug and shoot some WD-40 or fresh fuel in there. Let it soak for a while, then start working the flywheel from side to side. It's probably just gummed up from sitting.

I have already tried that but thanks anyway for your help Rolex.

Cheers
