The car idles great, runs perfect all around. When I even barely tap the brakes the engine dies. I am new to nitro RC's but experienced from years ago as a driver, What am I doing wrong?

You need to set your idle with the brake applied. Set your trim to zero at the same time. The trim should only be used for starting and warm up.

what rolex is trying to say is that when you hit the brakes your carb is closing and cutting off the air. set your throttle linkage while your radio is on and the trim is set at neutral. or simply raise your idle using the idle screw so that when you hit the brakes the idle is still high enough for the engine to stay running
