Help with Hobao vt

Hi everyone, looking for advive on setting up the gear shift on my hobao vt. I figured out the two screws on springs that alter the shift time. But where is a good point to start. Do i screw them in tight which will make it shift late as possible
then adjust from there to a point where I'm happy. I assume this is the correct way. No info in the manual at all.

Have you found any information on adjusting the shift point on the Hyper Vt?
