Help the newbie!!!

Wanting to get some better experience with the ground side of things, I went and got an ESE Blitz kit to build from the ground up. It took me from Tuesday until now to get it pieced together..... putting the finishing touches on the build, and after binding the transmitter, was doing some pre - checks, nice and easy, and I noticed that the wheel direction is opposite of what it is supposed to be!! If any of you have ever used the manual that comes with this kit, you will understand when I say that they are not big on descriptions....they have pretty decent pictures...but that leaves you wondering sometimes!! Anyways, could this be that I have put the differential in backwards???:\

If you mean the steering is going the wrong way, flip the servo reversing switch on your radio.
If you mean you're driving it and forward is going backwards, swap any two of the 3 wires to the motor, if it's brushless.
If one end is turning opposite from the other, then you have a reversed diff.

steering is correct, it's the forward/reverse that's switched....if you pull on the trigger to go forward, it goes backwards, and the same if you want to go in reverse, it goes forward. The wires from the esc match the wires to the motor...and it's a new mamba max pro combo set.

Rolex...thanks for your reply....I didn't do it though... I thought that I would be able to change settings in the speed controller itself, and as it turns out....I can...and did!!! There's a tab in the window that says "basic", and in it (if you have the castle creations field quick link) you can actually select to reverse the motor output, and then load that into your esc....it worked like a charm!!! Thanks for your time, ear, and suggestion!!!!!

nice I was gonna sugest the throttle reversing button but I guess I am not needed...... l.o.l. I love a success story!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah it's the motor wire connectors my does that sometimes to and if the motor wires are correct then just turn off the rc car and the controller and wait a few seconds that resets everything and it works fine again.

it might be painful for those of you who are more experienced....but....I did take some pics of the HPI Blitz ESE kit build I recently finished....and then hit a frickin squirrel with it, breaking it in the wrong way!!! I don't have a killer camera, so I hope these will do!
