Ok first question,
was running my ts4n on OS A3 glow plugs, great stuff, but ran out so am using a medium unbranded plug at the mo till i get more, the car is so intermitten its unreal, conking now and then, should i try re-tuning it to match the new plug, conking on full throttle and conking intermittently, even on idle.....

second question,
schumacher riot, tunned and idleing and running perfect, except....when i do a high speed pass and slam on the brakes she conks, admitedly i have a bodged clutch spring at the moment and a new one on the way, just wonding is the clutch staying engaged when i brake and thus stalling the engine???

any and all help greatly appreaciated.

Re-tune it for the new plug, but you'll have to tune it again when you go back to the OS plug. I believe the A3 is a hot plug, do you know what the new plug is?

Yes on the clutch spring. How is it broken? If it's a spring that wraps around the clutch completely, try making a new loop on the end, that will at least last until you get a new one.

I am using an OS8 equivelant, so I'm guessing its a medium plug. I didnt think it would run so badly though??

yea i looped the old one for the time being but I'm guessing its not at the right tension anymore so its prob staying engaged.

I looped my twice. When I first got my Losi SNT, it broke when I was tuning it. Looped it and it worked. Then my motor broke, and I was sent a new one, with the same clutch, and when I was tuning that one, the other end broke. So I looped it again, still works good though.

for the schumacher i have recieved a new spring and shoes today, will install next week as i wish to sort my ts4n troubles first.... noticed large air gaps in my fuel line when it cuts but the tank and lines are 100% air tight, the engine is fully sealed so I'm going to retune for the plug and go from there, plus the weather has gone from about 4-5 degrees since i last ran it to 15-18degrees (all celcius)

Anymore tips and help appreciated
Dave

stupidity....the mother of all problems, had my backpressure line pushed into my exhaust too far......so it was sucking up oil....thus not allowing enough gas through to allow the engine to stay running after a high speed pass......

still workng on the schuey
