Help plz with a nitro engine

Hey guys,I'm having problems with my mgt 4.6.Yesterday she was running great,then today i took it out and a drive cup set screw came loose so i only had 2 wheel drive,put a new one in.I then try to start it later on and it wouldnt start unless i applied some throttle,weird. I then went home to fool with it and propped it up and tried to start it and it started no problem but the wheels were spinning so i turned down the idle and when i put it on the ground it stalled,kept doing it no matter what my carb settings were.I tried changing hsn and lsn with no go.Is it my plug i did check it and it lit up also when i had the truck propped up if i put on the breaks it would stall and i know its not the idle because no matter were i set it it would still stall.I'm stumped thx lol.

Check the engine clutch. Broken spring or shoe or bad bearings can cause the issue. If the bell dosent spin freely you know the issue is with the clutch assembly.

thanks,ya i pulled the clutch bell off and a broken spring fell out. damn i just got this thing running again after a month waiting for parts. ne ways thanks for the response.

Ya it broke in half hopefully ill have it fixed tomorrow. I just got some trany gears and a owb for it the same day.
