help please!!

hey guys my nitro sport .15 engine likes to run at temps well over 300.. i have sealed the engine and the fuel tank is fine all have been check over with the soapy water test....
i really dont know what more i can do? I'm stuck!

The Traxxas engines are known to run a bit hotter than most. I've seen them run comfortably around 270*. 300* is a bit hot, though. Try to richen the low mixture needle by one hour and see if that helps your heat problem.

ok that helps a little but I'm spitting out nitro like no tomorrow and its staying around 290

Sounds like it's being worked too hard or has a low speed needle issue.

Spitting nitro out of the exhaust is normal at idle.

sure was i just richened the lSN and it ran nicely all day
