Having trouble keeping a grub screw in place in diff, how do I fix this it 's fallen out twice now. First try was locktight blue what now ???

i had to resort to red locktite on the grubs on my ax10. those little buggers kept backing out.

Which "loctite blue"? The liquid stuff? The paste or the gel?

I've found that the gel works best. It stays a bit gummy and seems to hold better when it does finally cure due to it filling the threads so well. But it doesn't hold like the red stuff.

except the red stuff is extremely hard to get out. But it does hold really good

I have to use the red loctite on my T-Maxx CVDs. That Picco .26 would loosen them up 2-3 times a gallon at least until I went with the red. Sure they are a PITA to get out but they don't come out on their own anymore which is a good trade off.

Thanks very much guys. The red worked wonders !!!!!!!!!!!
