Help please

Ok does anyone know where to get the 5mm x.08 nylon nuts for the rims on our tmaxxs? w/o having to pay 3 or 4 dollars for the nuts and then 3.50 to ship like ebay has. I have tried Universal fasteners and I have also tried McMaster and a local company that has gotten me stuff in the past for my maxx. Do we have to use the flange nuts or can we go with out the flange. Thanks for any info.

Try Home depot or Lowes, I've found small flanged nuts their for other projects, but they were english threads. You might get lucky though.

home depot has english thread of 10/24 (I think it was which ever fit...but i am/was kinda nervous to try that just in case it doesn't hold well....but it might come down to it) Thanks for the info though.

If you go without the flange, put a washer behind the nut. Otherwise you will run the risk of cracking the rim.

yeah ya dont wana crack them and have to look all over again
but worst of all put your maxx outa comission
