iwas wondering is the xtm exterminator a good buggy. i am either going to get pbs or the pcr which one is better and could you please give me a site where i can buy it
thanks
greg

The XTM is cool there is a couple of guys at my track with them. I have the GS Storm and after just a coupel of upgrades, I am running at the front of the pack. The XTM is not race legal because of the engine so if you want to race you already have to spend some money. I say go with the Hyper 7 pcr. That is a great buggy. Or the Storm, mine is awesome.

thanks greg

It use to come with the pull and box, but I have heard latley that they were dropping the pull because they had upgraded the starter box. You may want to call who ever you buy from first as Ofna seems to be doing a bit of a grab bag with these kits latley. I have the PBS and love it, I did get the better starter box for it because the one I got with it was very weak.

I bought the Hyper7 PBS PCR two weeks ago. Mine had starter box included (a cheap one, but it works OK). It had NO pull start. While I would kinda like to have the pull start, it is one less thing to go wrong. Plus, you will never develop an air leak around the backplate crank seal.

I have practiced at the race track with this thing and it flies through the air with no problem. Plus, it has a strong engine (Hyper .21). I hope to be racing this Sunday.

No the PBS does not come with the pullstart, and I am not sure how they upgraded the starterbox. This is the box I use and it works great. Everyone I bash with now uses it after there pull starts or rotostarts packed it in, this thing rocks.

starter box here

I will agree that the above starter box is great. Cost 130 for box and 12v battery and you have to put it together, but it will turn the engine over.

This box will turn over a hyper7 like nothing, it broke in to RB concepts WS7 11 engines a couple of weeks ago and they are a lot tighter than the hyper 7.

No Nitro_Freak that is not the starterbox that comes with the pcr or pbs, this is ofna's after market box. The one I got with my pbs and zandor got with his pcr would not start our motors so I went with the better box. Ofna claims they have beefed up the stock box since I got mine, but who knows. Some people have no problem with the stock box, I did. So if you get the pcr or pbs see how the box works for you and if you have to upgrade go to the better ofna box.
