Your driving style will dictate what will break. Cement curbs in local neighborhoods are good for busted A-Arms, shock towers, just about anything. I know that many of us don't live close to a track or some dirt parking lot, but try and stay away from the concrete. As far as what you should do before you run it.....follow your manufacturers instructions regarding engine break-in, and any and all pre-run maintenance. It may or may not say it but give the buggy a once over, check all the screws and nuts for proper tightness, check all the electrical connections, check for proper movement of all moving parts, (i.e., suspension movement, wheels, servos, etc.). Don't rush out and buy all the spare parts your LHS stocks. Go over your manual, break the engine is correctly and take it easy, get comfortable with it. Many of these buggies, even the low end ones, have enough power to destroy themselves when hitting objects at high speeds. Good luck.

Thanks alot i currently own a nitro rustler i am sick of dealing with its cheapness so i am getting a buggy... i have heard they are tuff. i dont live around concrete curbs but i do no were ther is a place behind my friends house that has a humongous hill then this like little bump jump that we jump and then try to climb the hill lol i wouldnt with the buggy its to low to the ground to try and climb the hill ther is to many rocks.. but we recdntly found out were a track is so we will be terrin it up ther. after christmas i plan on getting a hpi savage also so maybe i will be set lol i doubt i will have enough money for both it just depends lol thanks for your help. i just want to know what to upgrade first.. what will break first when running hard?? you know the nececitys the toughness..etc.
