I have a chance to trade my Maxx for a cen ct-5. there is a lot of land for my Maxx but there is also alot of places for a fast car. Pros- Cons on what to get into.. thanks, Wayne

Well it depends. Do you like on-roads or off-roads? I'd keep the Maxx if I have a lot of land (Like some extra land on property or a large backyard/frontyard). I would get a CT-5 if you had a very close on-road track or you like drag racing along the street.

i like CEN lot but keep the maxx.... parts are more readily available for the maxx

my question is what condition is your max in.. the cen is a sweet on road.. and i almost took the offer. maxx's are easly abused.. maybe you have a nice rig. dont know. but i have seen "the cen" its a little dusty, but fairly new. parts are a little slow to get couse its mostly mail order. but they are good rigs and very tough with awsome motors. not to mention they do about 75mph...

You have a nice Maxx bro. I'd keep it if I were you. Every once in a while I consider getting rid of my Maxx and getting a different MT but it was my first real r/c. Even thought nothing on it was truly part of the original the idea still stands. They are still good trucks, they just need a lot of upgrading (which you've already done)

Its all been rebuilt down to new screws. And since being built onnly 1.5 tanks have been put on it. Did you get offered the same cen?

Thanks Lessen, I hear you on the upgrades.

I think you should keep the maxx. I think about doing the same thing, but I know personally I can always take my maxx out back and have a blast. I would have fun with an on-road car in front of my house for about two days, then I would be bored unless I had a track nearby (which I dont) I don't know what the CEN costs, but I know about what you have in that maxx, and I think if you're just wanting an on-road to play with, keep the maxx and save up and get an on-road that isn't too expensive, then you can have the best of both worlds

Charles you are the man, I was thinking the same. I do have alot more in mine than the CEN would cost new times 3...my wife never lets me forget,LOL

I'm looking into getting an on road myself, and I considred trading but the numbers just don't match up unless you go up to a full race grade vehicle, which is not what I want because I want to be able to bash in the parking lot. Have you looked into getting a rally car?? Then you could have an on-road car yet still have a track set up on dirt too. I've been watching some videos and the look like A LOT of fun on the right terrain. Almost like on-road, off-road, and drift car combined.

I'm loving the RPM arms by the way, I think you'll be very pleased with them. Now you're getting that thing set up where you can just go out and bash and have something dependable. It's gonna take a pretty good crash to hurt most of that stuff.

RPM make some good stuff, e bay has some good prices. I no cause I shopped around a lot.

man i dont know of a hobbyshop around these parts that stocks the cen stuff.all of them have maxx parts.
