Traxxas trucks aint cheap, there just built 2 handle smallblock engines. Dynamite make conversion kit that come w/ the drivetrains u will need, all 6 of them.

There are 4 diferent types of conversion kits they make. They have 1 for the t-maxx an the t-maxx 2.5. They also have a conversion kit w/ an w/out Mach .26 engine.

Here is the link for the T-Maxx 2.5(without the Mach .26)

I would stick with something smaller than a 21. When you up the HP to over 2hp, your just asking for issues. Not just the axles, but in the differentials, the trans and even the spur and clutch. If your going to spend that kind of money, just get a truck that can support a 21 or larger without upgrades. Like a savage, LST, MGT... The T-Maxx just wasn't designed with that kind of power in mind and you will end up chassing your tail and will be the proud owner of a $1500 maxx that might make it through a weekends worth of bashing.

Been there, done it, wish I hadn't.

Ok i think ill just stick w/ a .18 motor thanks for saving me a whole bunch of money.
