This is for my Maxx. has a RC Solutions cage.

1. A Body for it.
2. new Rims and Tires.

Will Anybody fit Over the cage and not have to cut the back out like the Truck Body I have now?

Lets see what everybodys taste is.. :)

I believe an suv body would fit over it without cutting it, but the suv body doesn't allow you to start the engine when it dies, or tune it with the body on, so the cutting of the truck body in my opinion would be worth it. I can't really suggest tires because you didn't say what surface you would be running on. But, the 40 series tires are a good choice along with Imex, they have lots of choices as well. The rims, i would suggest rpm if you aren't going with 40 series, but thats just my opinion.

I don't know about the cage but I know there are a lot of people here who have one. You may want to post something in the RC Solutions forum. Maybe Scott can give you some advice.

As far as the wheels and tires, it depends on preference and the surface you run on. I am currently running Imex Trail Dawgs on Hot Bodies Dagger wheels. I like them a lot. They get good grip and are light. But there are a lot of wheel/tire choices out there.

True I might e able to get a H2 body on it.

I bash on a moto cross track I have out in my back lots. Table tops, tripples and doubles, etc...

Right now I have RPM rims maybe I'll just strip the purple chrome look off em and dye em.

The Maxx is dirty. Time for a tear down. While its apart I'm gona polish the alum. for some bling bling. Strip the purple off the springs. and re use em for now Untill I get some 1/8th Scale buggy shocks. These Sagave Shocks make it want to tip in a fast corner.

Ok I had the Monster GT and had the RC-Solutions roll cage. I know that a standard truck body will fit with a few Mods. The RC-solutions cage has body mounts for located in a few spots on the cage. You just have to be able to mark on your body and punch a hole for each one. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use a Hummer body. So long as you don't go down in the scale of bodies you should be fine.

Post pics of your ride when you get it done! If youneed more help ask ScottM for help. He is a very nice gentleman!

Is the motocross track a loose kind of dirt? I like the imex swamp dawgs for loose dirt, but then again, i haven't used anything else.

This time of year its Mud and snow......lol.

Summer its loose,packed and clay..

The H2 body is nice. The old panel truck style body llike the gravedigger would work too.

As far as a tires and wheel combo...40 series velocity dished with bow ties is a good choice.

For snow, the savage stock tires work best for me. For bashing in the dirt, I use the imex swamp dawgs (medium compound) or the stock savage tires... depends on how much jumping and not landing on a downgrade as to which tires I run in that case. The imex tires have soft sidewalls and get cuts in them from the rims upon impact. If your jumping onto a downgrade, the impact is less, so it's not as rough on the sidewalls.

But for general bashing, I like the savage tires the best.

I've run Imex j-hawgs (medium), but they were so hard that it wouldn't hook up on anything, including concrete.

Pro-line mashers and they just spin all the time. Pro-Line road rage were ok, but the tires walk on the foam from side to side pretty bad.

Imex swamp dawgs hook up good on pavement, loose dirt/gravel and grass, but you have to be careful of the sidewalls on big air. Lightest of all I ran. (9 oz per tire/stock maxx rim)

Savage stock tires seem to hook up on just about every surface I run, but they are a high sidewall tire and you get a lot of tire roll to the sides when cornering.

Traxxas stock maxx tires are ok on grass and concrete, but sucked ass on dirt/gravel. Lots of spinning and loss of control at high speeds. Also, they are the heaviest of all the ones I've ran. (14 oz per tire/stock maxx rim)

Personally, I think the pickup lids look great with the cage stickin out the back...
And like others have mentioned, you can still get to the pullstart through the lid... Here's one I cut up for Msly's Tmaxx. It could have been trimmed a bit less in the very rear, but still looks pretty cool...

That is an ATOMIC body that Msly won at the first ECB... Couldn't have asked for a better color match... Looks kinda like one of those baja racers...
