help maxx tranny gone again

well i installed a big block conversion in my maxx and now i can't keep gearsin the tranny i got some forward metal gears and now my primary out put gear is getting smoked the 1st time i stamnd on the throttle so i was wondering if someone makes a gear for it thats fairly cheap (under40$) so i can get my truck up and going links will be helpfull but no rush i have plenty of other cars and trucks to run but if someone has one that i can buy i will

go with an rrp gear to replace the one that you broke.

Yeah, go with all the RRP gears you can. If you have to, go with the OTB first and second gears (only if you have to).

just think once you get the tranny to stop blowing up you'll get to upgrade the Diffs next....OH GOODY.....

Sad to say, but thats how it works... :shrug:

And the only diffs that can really stand the punishment are 1/8 scale diffs, in comes unlimited engineering. Then you have to buy their tranny gears (steel) to get the gear ratio's right. Then you need to get an 1/8 scale clutch system as that will start anoying the piss out of you... it will never end until you get a rig that was built to handle the power of a BB from the box.

Anyway, the RRP stuff holds up for a long time. I bought the RRP FOC, RRP top gear, RRP forward primary. I think for all 3 of them it's around $100 or so. But like 21Rc10GT said, then comes the diffs.

I gave up and got a savage after dumping about $1200 into my t-maxx.
