Hi,

I was given this truck after my father passed away. I couldn't find any identifying markings on it and was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of truck this it. Any information would be really helpful as I am thinking that I may sell it.

Thanks

Team Associated MGT

Great thanks, I really don't know much about these things right now. Is this a regarded as a good RC Truck?

A quick follow up, how can I tell if its the GT 3.0/4.6/8.0?

It will have some identification on the side of the engine. You can go to team associated.com and see what parts look like yours. The 3.0 has a pull start. The 4.6 has both a pull start and pro start backplate and the 8.0 has the pro start backplate only if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for your help everyone. I had a feeling it might be a 4.6. I'm looking forward to trying it out this weekend. Is there much maintenance that goes into keeping these things running well?

Thanks again.

It is either the 4.6 OR the .21 that came out before the 4.6. Both were pretty good vehicles. I would say they are like a bigger, beefed up T-Maxx in a lot of ways.

Actually now that you mention it, I do think that the motor said Pro 21 or something like that on the side. Is that the engine size? How does that variant compare to the other ones (3.0/4.6/8.0)?
