Help!!!!!! Can't decide??????

Trying to decide which truck to buy, a SavageX 4.6, Revo 3.3, or possibly a T-maxx. I'm planning to use it just for bashing, big hits, and so on, not likely to ever race, so help please. Does the Savage have more power, like snap or pull than the Revo, I know the Revo is maybe faster. Thanks in advance.

if you dont plan on hopping it up, the Revo or Savage. The Maxx is nice but its got its weak spots more than the others.If you plan on building your own beast get a Maxx 3.3.

yeah + 1 for twocane i have a maxx and a revo and the revo is stock stronger and more durable then the good ole tmaxx

I have had a T-Maxx for about 4 months and I got a Savage X SS about a month ago. I HIGHLY recommend the Savage, it sounds perfect for the usage that you described. The quality of the hardware from HPI and the fit and finish is SOOOO much better than my T-Maxx. I was really blown away by the quality as well as the power of the Savage. The 4.6 big block is just explosive, and it moves that truck like nobody's business. Don't get me wrong, I love my T-Maxx, I took it out and bashed it all afternoon, but the uality of the parts and the durability just don't compare to the Savage. My Savvy is a tank of a truck

I agree with CharliesTheMan, I believe my T-Maxx 2.5 will be a great backup or loaner/friend truck. I love it, don't get me wrong...but the stock parts break TOO EASY. By the time you replace all the parts on the T-Maxx that will break in the first few weeks you could have just bought a Savage X SS kit and had an already pre-upgraded truck that you built yourself. I think building yourself will be the way to go if you are patient. I wanted something 'now' and the price I paid for my slightly used Maxx was too good to pass up, but I really wanted a Savage kit. My next purchases are going to be an on-road car and a Savage X SS kit.

just like I stated earlier, if you want it out of the box stronger than the rest Savage. If you are like many of us you can build a killer rig thats your own monster out of the Maxx. It is all on you

The Savage X SS kit is also very eay to build for anyone who is worried about not being able to do it. They have an included an instructional booklet that is very detailed and all of the parts are seperated and labeled step by step, so even the dumbest of RC ehthusiasts should be able to assemble this without too many problems. I only had one problem myself. I put the clutch springs on facing the wrong way, and it took me about an hour to get them on. Then I realized they didn't look right and took them off, when I put them on the right way they slipped right in, only took about 7 minutes to do all three.

i have a savage x and a t-maxx and my t-maxx has toar up alot but is still an ok truck but my savage has not toar up on me and has a mother load of power so i would go with savage for the durabilty and the power.
