Hi! You want to get started so much that you opened 2 intros?!

No biggie!

WELCOME TO RCTALK.COM!!!

Its good to have you here!
MJX isn't a top tier r/c brand that you're likely to see on a track.
I wouldn't expect that it can take 'full sends' off a giant skate ramp either.
I do think that for a $100 budget, your choice is a 'better' of that quality model.
I have heard a few ppl say that they've enjoyed running the hyper-go. I don't own one so its hear-say.
Parts availability is always a factor. Find out if ppl ACTUALLY get them when they order them pn line. Check reviews!
What I do speak from personal experience with...
For $50 (ish?) more, buy an Arrma Gorgon!!!
Its a WAY better truck and parts are EVERYWHERE!
I belive the Arrma Fury is the same chassis and another to check out!
I'm not an Arrma fan boi by any means... but my Gorgon is a GREAT truck and its the closest thing to your price range that I personally have run.
It you like monster trucks, like how they run and trick on tv, you'll like this truck too. I like mine so much that I haven't installed the hop up parts that I have for it!
I recommend saving a little more and buying a better r/c to start from.
You'll be happier I think!
Merry Christmas!!!
