Yesterday the motor, servos and electronics showed up.
Today, the heli arrived.
In a very short time, the build will begin. Pics later.:celebrate3::celebrate::thumbup:

I didn't see any mention of the chrome plated carbon fiber bits for the reinforced shelf.....

When do the reinforced shelf brackets arrive? :D

This one stays airborne, supporting the shelf that the Savage is on. :D

Here she is......

These are some of the parts that arrived yesterday:

Don't you just LOVE opening a box of parts for the first time?

The bottles also came with it. CA glue, Oil, Grease, and some kind of cake icing, I think.

I even found transparent blue servos for it....

That's the progress on it so far, but I've only had it about 4 hours. :D

Am I enjoying the build? :celebrate3::bling::dance::celb2::celebrate:

how big is that one Rolex? You can tell their complicated just by looking at that rx!

700mm rotor. The receiver is for my Spektrum DX-7, and has a secondary receiver attached that orients perpendicular to the main unit. That way there's never a loss of signal no matter where the heli is or how much it's flipping.

It's after midnight, and I'm history. All the servos and linkages are in, The tail is finished and tomorrow I'll power it up to align the servos and program the radio.
I'll post the pics then.

That looks sweet! I've always been fascinated with helis. Makes me want one,but nitro! LOL

I have one for sale. 48" rotor, .46 nitro. I've gone electric with the rest of them.

My want exceeds my wallet! :hehe:

+ 1
The real world always interferes (sp?) with my hobbies.

:hehe: That's why we're in this hobby. If we could have anything, any time we wanted it, it would bore us. This way there's always something waiting down the road that we save up for.

Also why ya see these UPS drivers walking around with there arm in a sling...

After waiting for an order, we almost rip the poor guy's arm out taking the package from him. :D

It's an obsession. I have little or no control when it comes to detailing.
I just ordered a full fuselage, complete with servo operated retracts. :D

I'll load up my finished heli pics in a few minutes.

I would have preferred just white fiberglass so I could design my own, but all the fuselage's come pre-painted. That's the model and the scheme I chose, but it will get detailed up as a Copper Chopper with all the lights and labels.
I do my own decal designs on the computer, then have them run off on decal paper through a laser printer.
