I'm setting here watching the weather channel and there talking about new york with a "summer record high of 99 deg" with a heat index of like 102.. I'm like WTF ?? luckyyyy.. its 89 right now with a heat index of 102 and has hit 114 ACUAL temp here a few times.. MAN i need to move!! i hate heat.. i would so rather be cold.. you can put on more clothes to warm up.. you can only take off so much.. but i still think its funny there telling people in new york to "drink plenty of water and try to exersize early so your not uncomfortable.." HA again i say HA thats just funny.. try 112 with 100per humidity and not a single clowd in the sky.. you can sit still in the shade and STILL have sweat pouring off of you.. damn dirty south.. winter is almost obsolite.. it ACUALLY SNOWED here last year and it was some places first snow in 115 years.. it was a whole 3 inches but hey snow is snow right?? lol just venting.. i think the heat is getting to me.. man you outa try tuning a nitro when its 100 + out side with 100 percent humidity and evey time you bend over sweat pours off your face and onto the head and into your eyes.. AAHHH is sucks.

I am with ya man! It has been miserable hot here in Florida too. The humidity is always 100% or near it. It has been about 105+ heat index daily with violent thunderstorms every afternoon, then the humidity gets so bad you can't even breath. Now try working outside on a construction site for 10-11 hours a day in that heat, having to wear jeans and a hard hat and climbing steps all day while carrying heavy equipment and supplies. This heat sucks! I have not even bothered running any of my cars in at least a month now. No way I want to even try and break in my WS7II when there is water dripping out of the air. Bad thing is it is hot as hell here 11 months out of the year, but June, July, August and September are by far the worst. When I am not at work I want to do nothing outside unless its swimming in my pool.

Well they tell the people in NY to drink water and yada yada yada, because we have change of seasons.
It doesn't get hot here all the time like it does in your climate.
There are the few dummies that don't understand what the heat can do to the human body, so the warnings come up in the news from time to time.
I understand that in this type of weather, the men should wear nipple tassels and thongs are a must.
Women, 2 band aids and a cork!

We've got a nice 95-100 degree 5 month summer. Only 20-30% humidity so its damn nice for babe watching. The only problem is that's prime thunderstorm weather. Now if they could only put out the 50,000 acre wildfire in my backyard...

We had a long stretch with a bunch of days that were 90+. Then on the heat index it feels in the 100's. The humidity is what kills us here. Last night it got down to 59 degrees here, and holy cow did it feel cold..lol.. It felt good though.

here you can't even walk out side without breaking a sweat and try working outside with kids in the summer i'm glad school is starting and fall is comming!!!!

Hold on a minute... I'll call the whaaaaaaaaaambulance for ya...
HOT is HOT... whether it be 92 or 102... It SUCKS, WE GET IT.... lol

I'm not whining.. i just think its funny that new york FINNALY hit 99 deg and it makes they news.. when weve hit 114+ and yea hot is hot but hot AND humid SUCKSS lol

so for some reason you think that texas is the only place that's humid? it sounds to me as if you've never experienced new york in 99* heat with humidity. until you do so, "bragging" about how bad you or anyone else has it is just pointless.

its hot for everyone, we all swamp crack, hopefully ratzo will make a donation to our plight.

ok guys.. this thread wasn't started so that everyone could tell me to quit whining and "bragging" i was just talking about the weather.. dont want it to end up like that babefest thread!!

no we certainly dont. someone's gonna get the boot soon if that stuff continues.

My post was totally in jest man.. In fact, it was more for NCNitro.... lol

tis all good guys.. i can take a joke.. or even two but seems some people have been on a short fuse lately and its hard to read them.. if its jokes then joke away.. i just dont want any bad blood with me and RCNT..

Everyone can stop whining about the heat until you've worked as a bike messenger in NYC through Jul / Aug....riding between 2 busses I watched a guy just pass out from heat exhaustion and almost got his mellon squashed by the bus and then me.......after seeing that I had a digi thermometer once going between the busses and it hit just under 140*F......I stopped trying to cut between them after I saw that......Heat suck no matter where you live, except Arizona, it's a dry heat ya know...lol....

The heat here in Nor Cal has been crazy. Lat week it was a stable 68-78 high all week long and should top into the 80s this week. At night we dip into the high 50s.

We may pay a lot to live here but its worth it.

You poor man...Oh I'm crying for all the suffering you do.....Eddy if I die I want to come back as you.....you're life just sounds sooooo hard......LOL

Just make sure you don't need to by gas, food, health or car insurance. and you will be fine. O-yeah, don't forget to bring 3/4- 1 million dollars if you want to live somewhere. Other then that the weather is great.

yeah I tried getting a job w/ an architectural firm in Malibu wanting Skatepark designers.....man what a cake job that would have been..... but the cost of living is just stupid unless you make salaries in the 6 figures......the offer was starting at 75k and I though holy crap until I started looking at what I'd need to budget for living......renting was in the 1.25k to 2k for 2 bedrooms......car insurance was almost double what I pay here.....I would have to redo the exhaust on my truck and food is expensive as hell out there.....but at least I could have died hungry homeless and tan....
