hi there I'm new to this forum. i have the original version of the t maxx 3.3 and broke my liner 3 months after having it. after about two years i decided to revive it so i ripped out the opti-drive system and replaced it with a proper failsafe and bought the picco p2 .26 engine, bi-directional clutch system, big air filter and a tsais rear twin exit exhaust system, the trouble is no matter how rich i run it the engine is steaming after a tank of fuel.
another thing is the engine has a very high compression so starting the truck is a right pain beacause the piston keeps getting stuck at the top of the liner. i have now stripped the starting gear in the ez start. does anyone know if the pull start would be any easier than the ez start to turn over the engine??
