Heart breaking news!

I got a call from my oldest sister and she informed me that my nephews youngest son has just been diagnosed with leukemia. He was brought into the doctors office to have a bump under his chin looked at and right away the nurses saw signs of something serious and everything was a blur after that. The Doc rushed over and took a look at him and immediately started prepping little Brayden for a blood transplant. He has had two transplants since yesterday, a med port was put in today and he has already taken his first dose of chemo. He will now take chemo treatments for the next 3 years among a few other drugs.

All of you that do pray please say a prayer for Brayden, those that don't pray please wish him well!

Huge good luck to him and the family. No one should have to get cancer but especially a little kid, can't imagine how scary it must be.

I hear you bro, cancer took my dad 24 years ago and sometimes the littlest thing can still get me all choked up about it, sorry for your loss brother!

Sorry to hear about this bro. I lost a 6 year old cousin back in the late 80's due to this. It's tough times and trust me when I say I pray. It works dude. My thoughts and prayers are with you through these times. Take care.....Kev

Good luck to him SMaxxin. I just had a second cousin go trough the same thing. 8 year old boy. His battle has been going on for @ 3 years now.....but he's all cured now or as cured as you can get with leukemia. Almost a permanent remission I suppose and he's been doing GREAT for the last 2 years now.

It's a long road, but the fight is worth it for sure....
