Check ebay. You can get headlights/tailights for a little more than $1 a set. The downside is you'll have to wait about a month for them to arrive from china but same thing you get in the US basically for 4x the price. 
I usually order like 4-5 sets and keep them for future cars or I've given a few to friends as well for their crawlers.
