I think anything less then a season suspension is to little. The NFL needs to make it clear to it's players ass clowns are not welcomed here.

Look at the Bengals, Marvin Lewis sits out Chris Henry for being a passenger when Odell Thurman was arrested and charged with drunken driving. An off the field action and Lewis didn't even have to do this, but did. Props to Lewis for showing his team that ass clowns are not welcomed in the NFL.

I say if the NFL doesn't suspend Haynesworth for the season then the Titans should.

I heard a few guys talking about it and they doubted the league would suspend him. But I think Fisher will sit his ass for a while. I know I would. 30 stitches I heard. I say send him back to his summer house and talk about it next year.

What an ass hole! A suspension would be minor. What would happen to him if he did that to somebody on the street? Totally uncalled for!

He is going to have a target on his back when he plays the Cowboys again.

Paybacks are a bitch.

See, T.o's attitude is rubbing off on everyone..lol..

What a prick. I hope he gets a huge ass fine.

i doubt he'll get a long suspension by the league...at most i say 1-2 games and most likely just a game day check fine. the PA will jump all over the new commiss if he goes to strong.

IMO, the titans are the ones who need to make a statement here. anything less than a team imposed season long suspension in my eyes is weak.

The fine for felling a drug test if a four game suspension, this is a lot worst than a drug test and he deserves a lot worst than that. I say keep his ass off the field for the rest of the season and a fine on top of that.

Anybody think he could pass a drug test? Can you say roid rage.

Well, the league hit him with 5 games unpaid. The biggest suspension for on-field infraction in NFL history. But it still just doesn't seem like enough.

yeah, but he still has the right to appeal the decision...players are saying its to high, coaches and exec are saying not enough....guess we still have too wait and see what happens

I highly doubt he'll try to appeal it, even so I doubt it even more that the NFL will back down from this.

As a side note Haynesworth is also being fined for missing the 5 games as well. Nonetheless I still say they should have suspended him for the entire season. Get this thug crap off the field.

I guess the guy he kicked is pondering pressing charges. I think he should, but doubt he will.

Owners want to win games, people pay to see their team play to win. Therefore, scouts look for the biggest, baddest players colleges (for pretty much the same reason) can recruit. It happens in the NFL, NBA, and NBL. None of these assosiations really want to do anything if it might turn viewers away. Lets face it, this is great publicity and people want to see what he will do next game. Maybe see what happens when the Cowboys meet up with him again. The sports leagues are under the impression that we want to see thugs, so why really punish the players who pull this s@#t? Real punishment won't happen until people stop paying to see games for this reason.
