I have an hpi firestorm. I dont really care if i have to relocate the battery but i would like to get a rechargeable battery pack for it but I'm having trouble finding one anyone got a link or something

thats exactly what I'm lookin for Looks like it comes with the adapter to so i can charge with the charger i already have for my tmaxx

now i just need to look my car over and see which way would be easiest/cheapest but i think the one from rc planet will end up being the way to go

Some do, some don't. The HPI one is a lower Mah rated pack, but should do the job for you. I like running 1500mah+ packs which gives me more runtime as I run digital servos in most of my rigs. They use more power.

If you have access to ebay, go there. Will find them even cheaper.

ok sounds like a plan that was another thing i would like to go with the more powerful battery i have a quick charger which charges those hump packs in no time but would like to get as much run time as i can off a charge

Ebay is my main parts buying source on account of price and my lhs is like an hour away and only stocks traxxas nothing else

I found a tenergy on that will ship for like 14 bucks when it comes to batteries from your experience is one just about at good as the other

I have the stock hpi battery from my xl along with 5 other 1600 mah packs which 1 is a venom and 5 are duratrax. The duratrax batteries have done me well and for 16 bucks, are not bad. Any premium charger will have the charge adaptor to charge those packs. I usually charge mine around an amp or less and turn off the battery timer. It sure beats using a wall charger that takes about 8 hours and in the end you don't know if its even charged.

Go to hobbyking. Measure ur space and look at there batteries. They give u measurements of every battery they have so u can be sure they fit. Turnigy batteries are good. Hobbyking also have an Australian warehouse which will charge 8$ for shipping and will be at ur place 2-4 days. Warehouse is in Sydney. Batteries are super cheap there. I have almost 20 lipos in all different sizes from there and there great
