I placed an order 10 days ago.
Their site states that it can take up to 14 days or longer to get to me so I'm cool whit that. Their site also states 1-5 days to process the order before it ships I'm OK with that as well. 20 days seems long but the price is good.

What I'm not OK with is they say they send a tracking number when it ships I hung for 6 days without hearing a peep. I have sent them 1 e-mail a day asking for tracking for four days now and they have yet to respond.

Again they aren't late with my delivery as of yet, just no communication. They have a 99.2% feedback on e-bay and I used PayPal to cover my ass so I'm not worried, just wondering if anyone has dealt with these guys before?

I'm pretty sure they're the same people who run rcmart. I'm also pretty sure they're reliable, but I've never dealt with them.

i have done business with them before, like 2 summers ago. bought a cheap knock off of the mini-z. yea it took awhile cuz it came from Japan and i dont remember them answering my e-mails for awhile.

later

I get all my mini-z stuff there and never got a problem, the parcel should arrive in a few days.

Ed, I have bought from them myself on more than one occasion, your right, very poor e-mail comminication, I got no tracking number, but I got my stuff within the time they specified. So I wouldnt worry about it.

WoodiE, what about that commercial trader feedback forum???

they take a long time to get here, when I order it take about two or three week to get here.

you should also check out rcxshop.com they also have great prices

I ordered gpm steel swing axles, kind of like cvd's with a real U joint, from them. It took about 14 days (20 days from placing order) to get them to me. The tracking service sucks though. They sent a tracking number, but shipped it HKPost I believe and their tracking is worse the USPS.

I got the axles though and they looked nice, but they were crap. I don't think this is any fault of thiers, but rather GPM's. Thier prices are pretty good and hard to pass up though. You just have to plan ahead and not "need" what you order, but rather only want what you order since it takes so long.

As for the corrospondance, I emailed every day and got a reply on the 6th day because my transaction hadn't gone through yet. It was still processing. I thought this to be kind of wierd. Reason was, I ordered the titanium swing arms and not the steel. They titanium were out of stock. So, I replied, cancel transaction and I then ordered the steel. It was about 20 days from when I ordered the steel to when I received them.

They cancelled the transaction relatively quickly and appologized for any inconvenience. I just watched paypal, and after a day, I received the credit. Once I received the credit, I bought the steel.

You have to be careful with GPM. I have purchased several things from GPM and its a crap-shoot. To keep cost down they cast their parts rather than machining them. The price is good and they have many parts that others don't but again the quality is questionable at times.

Bringing this one back. I can now say DINBALL SUCKS! I will NEVER order from them again! I have to email them 5-6 times to get a response, it takes 5-6 days for them to answer an email. I am waiting 20 days now since I paid, never got a tracking number, or even an email stating it had been shipped, as I had with previous orders. Their customer service sucks! Not worth the few cents saved to wait forever for a part to fix my buggy. I will spend the few extra bucks next time and get it from someone in the US.

Stop supporting Chinese slave labor as much as possible...I know it's unrealistic to buy only made in USA stuff, but I won't give a foreign country my cash to save myself some pennies....there's a whole political theme on this thread that could get really ugly if I start another rant.....

I distinctly remember ordering something from them but for the life of me can't remember what it was. Which reminds me of a very good joke about memory and aging, dig around in Chaos in about 10 minutes. :D But yes, you know they're in China, correct? Which is why it takes so long and there's faulty communication.

Not that they're Chinese. The distance, and customs. Never mind. :D

I ordered a set set of bearings from them and had the same experience as you....Slow Slow Slow. Now I gladly pay a little more to get better, faster customer service.

I've ordered there once. no argument about the slow shipping, but I did receive the parts ordered... eventually.

i prefer www.rc-mushroom.com similar prices, much better service. i buy my OS parts there since its so much cheaper. when the XB8 parts were stuck in customs last year, i also bought replacements there too. i try to order in the US as much as possible, but i can't afford to just give money away.

I've ordered from Mushroom too and they were good. There's another guy in Hong Kong that was very good as well. I got the stuff from HK faster than I get some stuff in the states! For some reason or another I've stayed away from Dinball now I'm glad I did.

------Update-----

Nearly a month later, still no parts. I filed a complaint with paypal 10 days ago, they did not even bother to respond to pay pal to answer the complaint, so I by default I got my money back from pp. It's now a month since I ordered and paid for my parts, and now I am back at square one, a broken buggy and no parts to fix it, damn!. Way to go Dinball!
