True! I dont need a kitchen sink! I use a Hitec LYNX3D Radio for all my RC's, This Radio now sells for$149 down from almost$300.
This radio already does so much more than I need, It has a 10 model memory,a large screen lcd display and other features I will most likely never use, less is more! enough is enough! and way too much is, well, way too much!

Killah, you can find some more info on the KO Propo website. They have the EX-I Mars R, so I guess it is the updated version of the one you asked about.

www.kopropo.com

Looking at all their features they seem pretty good. That EX-10 Helios is bangin', but well out of my price league.

Are you thinking about getting one? If so, post some pics & give us some feedback on it.

Later...:mex:

BTW, fix your signature. There isn't any picture & when you click on the link, nothing happens.

hey, could some one tell me why those new high tech things are so good?? in english. i dont do all that mumbo jumbp friggin the new 128 gigamabight 2003 dual trim and everything. whats it all mean and whats it good for. i mean how many everyday bashers get sumthing cool out of that things. i mena i just want to no what it has that my every day average joe controler doesn't ok thanks, and what that led screen thing? what comes up on it

I think the science behind the high end radios is mainly performace. With a system like this and many other high end radios it should be your last if not your first. Why hop up your RC to the max and not your radio system? Of course, some users are happy with their stock truck and radio but eventually you will grow up and out of that stage. Tell me for the video game players, how many still have and play the "original" Nintendo...my point exactly. Whether you're a racer or the common basher, if you have some sort of competition (shout out to "Digi") you will want every possible advantage. The last thing you want or need is a glitch!:marshall:

Nice analogy about the Nintendo! Getting a high-end radio system for someone who simply bashes in the backyard & doesn't do much else with their truck will probably be a waste of money. (Unless you just happen to come across a good deal $$).

When it comes to electronics (or anything else), it is just human-nature to want the best there is & to always get the bells & whistles.

Buying something nice now prevents you from upgrading for a long time. Because it takes a while for technology to creep up and make the current high-end stuff look like average stuff.

Hopefully I didn't loose anyone in that.

Later....

Well a lot of pro racers use Ko Propo. It is probably the most advanced stuff out there with programable servo's that you can hook to your PC. It's very expensive is why many people that are weekend warriors like us don't use them.

Bug, I guess U R on top of your game. Do U have one, or have U ever used one?:trashed:

I didn't know that you can program the servos off of your computer, that is pretty sweet. Not pratical for me, but still is pretty sweet.

Pricewise that Mars R looks pretty good, when U compare the "high-end" radios:

KO Propo EX-1 Mars R --- $190

Hitec Aggressor CRX ---$200

Futabe 3PM-FS ---$190

Airtronics M8 ---$250

JR XS3 --- $240

True, some of these are synthesized, but it looks like they all lack in other features when compared to that Mars R.

BTW, SHK, your sig pics are not working. The dancing chicks are gone.
