Well, the 97M version is going to take me 4 minutes... I'm waiting...

Good editing though on the smaller one. Man, you guys run hard. I kind of miss hearing the trucks though. But I'm sure that would kick up the size even more. I know it does when I make my movies.
 
The truck noise is too faint to hear over the wind and voices saying things like "dammmmnnnn" and "holy poop did you see that..."

Trust me, you don't need to hear the nitro burning to know it is being burnt. :D

Glad you like the 59MB one, the 97MB is not the quality you were looking for based on the previous post...but I do have one that is larger and would suit you just fine. Let me know if you want it via PM.

also, that last vid you posted (the 97meg one) is in a wierd format. quicktime doesn't read it and wmp doesn't either.
 
I had no pronblem with is as a QT file I just double clicked on it and it opened with no problem but it does not play in media player. I guess I just and prepared for any movie Sky makes to be in QT format, never fails no matter what he promises. :D
 
Yeah I couldn't ge the 97MB to play either. Quicktime or WMP would not recognize it. I guess you need Quicktime Pro to play it. Anyway a big 300mb movie is fine to download. I remember when I had dial-up & I would download stuff & have to leave the computer on ALL night to download it. LOL. Great Job Sky! I will send you a PM.
 
The 97MB file might have compatibility issues due to the compression used. It is MPEG-4 so you might need the latests and greatest codecs to play it.

Quicktime Pro will definitely hack it or the latest quicktime viewer should also.

I'll see what I can do about the 300MB file a little later. The wife just got home...and it is family time. I'll PM the interested parties once the link is up and ready...

Send it their buddy! I'll take the big kahuna, beats waiting a week for the good stuff to be delivered. Remember to ask the Command Master Chief about next weekend, Sunday would probably be better for me though.
 
Where can you get a version of the QuickTime movie viewer? I can't play these vids.
 
The 300MB file is going to have to wait a bit. I need to verify something with my host prior to moving the video. Also, I want to see what I can do about upping the video quality so that you guys get the best for the download time. Kind of want this to be a one shot deal so I can keep the bandwidth to my domain reasonable. The two vids I already posted are choking the domain and that is only with the exposure from this site.

I may need to set up some kind of FTP deal for you guys to get the big one. In the meantime, I ask your patience again while I resolve two things...the bandwidth issue and the video quality (the 300MB is great, but I know it can be better...)
 
I will second that! No problem waiting here either.

I finally got the 97MB vid to work. I forgot I formatted my hard drive a couple of days ago. I just needed to update the Quicktime to Version 6. Once again, nice job! So if anyone else can't get the 97MB vid to play, simply go here & get the latest version.

i already tried downloading it there, when i do the page "half-loads" and then doesn't do aything. i don't get any window popping up asking me if i want to install or whatever. kinda hard to explain...
 
Okie dokie...just verified my bandwidth package with my domain provider. 20GB per month...now on to making the best quality vid I can and package it for download in under an hour. This will be a by request only type vid, and may require an FTP set up in order to best move it through the pipes.

So far I have PMs from two members wanting it, and a couple of posts in this thread asking for it. EP don't worry, you will get the first shot. Digital Liquid you are number two. That will cover my obligations to the major players from the bash. Anyone else that hasn't already PMed me with a request for the larger file, best do so.

Thanks again for your patience...and I am really happy that you guys like it enough to want the bigger version. (note there is nothing different in the video other than quality of image...run time is still the same and footage included is still the same).
