Haha, found a surprise item.

As I was wrenching on the ntc3 to prep it for storage, I found the threads on the 2 speed housing managed get stripped out by the screws holding on the spur gear to the housing. I thought I had another one so I went rummaging through my ntc3's parts box. Unfortunately I couldn't find my spare part, I probably used it at some point.

So anyways, I was sitting around, looked in the box, and found my old O.S. 12 cv-r. I could have SWORN I sold that thing over a year ago. But I know i'm not that disorganized to do something like that. Only downside is I have no use for it, and should probably get the sleeve pinched since it's a little down on compression.

Well what gets me, is I had a guy go back on a deal I made with a crashed factory team ntc3. The reason the deal went sour was cuz he wanted to keep the factory team dual chamber pipe.

I found the OS, and a side exhaust system, that would have work. Then I thought to myself, "well poop, i'll be getting ripped off, but I can get that thing running and still make off pretty good." Unfortunately, I called him to find out he had JUST sent out the money order to pay me back. So no new ntc3. Even though i'm pretty much pulling out of cars, i'd still love to have a beginner car to teach my friend to drive with.

Just store your rides, take a few weeks breather from the site, & then pop on once in awhile to get your R/C fix...

i quit rc for a year or two.... mostly cause i hated the racer 2 with the belts with a passion. the drake is another story though its an addiction that takes a while to lose and a split second to come back
