Ok I'm not one for keeping secrets....lol , picked this up to build and play with this winter since racing will mostly be on hold. Been eyeballing them for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger. and at first glance, this is a beautiful kit!

Gotta pick up some loctite and some grease for the axles, i will get started on the chassis tonight if i get back home early enough. I need to read up on the transmission too, i havent seen anything where people have been taking them apart before the install.

I personally would take the trans apart, make sure it's greased well, and loctite all the bolts holding it together. Also, I don't know if it does or not (I know it is on the AX2), but if the shift shaft mechanism is threaded, make sure you loctite the adjuster or you'll be sorry. :D

That sir, is beautiful. I admit my jealousy right now. Cost?

Just got back home from the halloween trick or treating, hope to get started in the next 1/2 hour, photos will follow.

Got the chassis 90% complete, very enjoyable build so far, fit has been good, and missing no parts so far.

Hope to get the cab finished today, as far as paint goes, waiting on my new tires to come in to determine if i have to lift the truck to get them to fit.
