Hi all,
I've never had a nitro RC before and struggling with my new HPI savage 35 RTR. I bought it nearly new and was told it was run in. I managed to get it running ok but it wasn't shifting in to second gear, just as i realised this the fuel ran out. A few hours later i decided to give it another bashing and the engine would run but no power was going through to the wheels, no matter how much gas it wouldn't move.
First question, have i burnt the clutch out? I did mess about with the low speed needle if that helps!
Second question, is there somewhere that I can take it to that will have a look at it for me?? (I'm from th UK and live in Watford) I've been to my local RC store and as they don't stock HPI and I didn't buy it from them there hardly forth coming with advice! I know it's the cheats way out but i'm happy to pay someone to fix it if anyone knows somewhere I can take it. It would also be cool if I could go somewhere that will show me the basics on tuning and maintenance
Thanks for reading and hope you can help.
