Yeah, it comes with an adapter. The question is: is it safe? The mini TRX plug doesn't have a third wire connected to it.

Update: I just looked through the reviews, and two or three people said that they don't work in the TRX-4m.

Yeah, that's just the balance wire connected between the cells, only used when charging. It's why the ovonic pack still has a separate balance plug with 3 wires.

The niftiest way to do it would be an adapter the splits the trx plug into a "power" plug and a balance plug, but that would probably cost more.

IDK why it wouldnt work. Seems to me thats the whole purpose of of that connector

You won't be able to charge it on Traxxas's charger because of the 2/3 wire issue, you'll have to charge it like a "normal" 2S on a balance charger

Ah, OK. That explains it. Good thing I have a bigger charger (Dynamite Prophet Sport Mini).
