Got 2 geetars for rocking and rolling. Inspired by the video from the Who, Who are you song, I saw Pete with one of his Les Pauls sporting a blue checkered guitar strap having that late 70s look, I jumped on amazon and found one that looked close to it.

I like the jacksons. My dad’s neighbor was always a BC Rich guy, along with the Gibsons. Nice guitars.
Randy Rhoads is still my favorite guitar player of all time, hence my Jackson obsession.

On the left, Washburn D11/AN, purchased from a friend just before he died in a motorcycle accident. I’ve had it for close to 30 years, though I haven’t played much in the past ten.

On the right, the Strat copy my Grandfather made in 2017. I was the first grandchild, and this was the first one he built, so it’s the one I inherited about a week ago. He built 17 of them in 2017 at 88 years old. I inherited it on a Saturday, and starting combing Fakebook for amps and reading reviews on Sunday. I settled on a Fender Mustang LT25, and got it and a nice braided cable for a great deal. Trying to get back into it, but man it’s been a long time.

I mounted both this week in the office to help motivate me

Both nice looking guitars. That Washburn has some purdy woodgrain. I started playing again a few months ago, but haven't played much in the last few weeks.

Thank you, and yes it does. It's a true enigma. I don't think it was an expensive guitar for it's time, but Grover tuners, beautiful wood, and even with I know at least five year old Elixirs, it's has a brightness that I've never had in any other acoustic that I've owned. Anyone that plays it comments on it.

I'll bet. I have played a lot of new and used Washburn acoustics in music shops, and some of them have had very impressive tone, like more towards a nice Martin than any cheap guitar. I have always kinda wanted one, but whenever I have stumbled onto a nice one, I was broke at the time.
