lately when my tank gets about half empty i start gettin lots of air in the gas line sometimes enough to kill the engine. i think its just the pick up inside the tank. has anyone else had this problem with the gt2

a bloke i know had the same problem ,and i belive it had something to do with the in-built filter.you need to drill it out with a small drill then glue some fuel line onto the tank (or something like that) or you could just buy a new tank (but whats to say you dont have the same problem) i,d speak to your LHS and see if they know what i'm talking about. I'm sorry i couldn't be more acurate with the way to slove the problem but it didnt happen to me..

I'm going to go ahead and agree with neill74 here. When I was using the GT tank with the built in filter, I started getting bubbles in the line around 1/3 tank or so. I believe it is because the filter sticks out above the fuel line, and is fairly coarse, so it lets air in. This may or may not be the case. Double check to make sure there are no holes in the fuel line itself.

ya i will check with my lhs. do they meke any tanks for the gt2 without the little built in filter thing cause i am pretty sure that is the problem
