gs wheels

[Mike 8 nitro]

any troubles with gs wheels?? I recently purchased a set of gs 1/8 scale dish wheels for my lightning pro,made 1/2 lap rolled it in a turn and busted a wheel. I've abused prolines & never busted any. just wondering if I bought a bad batch of wheels. Maybe I need to stay with the pro lines.:flaming: :buggy1:

Ofna has some nice 1/8 wheels and they are cheaper

I broke more Ofna spokes than I wanna talk about here. I stick to Pro-Line and Kyosho rims for buggies.

I'd stay with Proline rims; Proline seems to be good with plastic =)

I've never really heard anything bad about the GS rims but then again I haven't met too many people who have ever used them.

man hb what are you doing to break rims. i bash very hard and have never broke a rim..i have taken some pretty hard landings.and have drove away...

Me too. One of my rims took one right on a cement curb at full throttle with no damage. And my suspension arms are very hard.

I guess you can break anything if you try hard enough.

I fly high, jump to big a lot of the time, have a knarly table top and a even knarlier set of tripples at my track. I broke 4 different set of Ofna rims there. Nothing makes you madder than a fresh pair of tires being ruined to a broken rim.

thats all i do is jump and have never broke i rim you have proble seen this befor but this is all i do.getting sick air is my thing...

I picked up a set of spoked rims from Racers Edge awhile back at $15 for all 4. They seem pretty strong and haven't busted them. I also had the stock GS spoke rims on my Storm and didn't have any problems w/ them.
